Monolink puts out new single Sinner on Ultra Records
The two-track single arrives ahead of a North American and Mexican run that closes with RÜFÜS DU SOL in Mexico City.
Berlin-based singer-songwriter Monolink returns with ‘Sinner,’ the first single from a sophomore album due later this year, out now via Ultra Records.
“With the first single ‘Sinner’ I wanted to explore a darker side of me, writing a fictional goodbye letter to a world that’s not worth living in anymore,” Monolink says.
It’s vocal-led. Built around his own voice more than usual, it arrives in two forms: a shorter edit and the full-length cut.
The release comes just ahead of Monolink’s Spring 2020 tour, a run of North American and Mexican dates that has him crossing the continent in a matter of weeks. RÜFÜS DU SOL, who’ll share the bill at Mexico City’s Pepsi Centre for the tour’s penultimate stop, joins him there. The run wraps with a headline set at Corona Capital in Guadalajara.
Sinner isn’t the album. It’s the first taste of the fuller record still on the way.
