Boris Brejcha releases debut album Space Diver on Ultra Records

The twelve-track set follows a Reddit AMA confirmation and the single 'Gravity,' and marks his first full album.

Under Ultra Records, Boris Brejcha’s Space Diver lands as the High-Tech Minimal pioneer’s first full album, out 24 January.

It marks new territory for an artist who’s built an entire genre from scratch. Brejcha coined High-Tech Minimal himself, and he’s spent years shaping the sound into something distinctly his own, patient enough that a debut album is only landing now. Space Diver collects twelve tracks under that name, titled after its own fifth cut.

He’d first confirmed the album during a Reddit AMA the previous year, long before ‘Gravity,’ the album’s opening track and first single, ever reached fans months later.

A second focus track, ‘To The Moon And Back,’ followed. It’s an eight-minute cut, riding ricocheting drums against a biting low end and jagged synth stabs, the mood dark but never static, bouncing more than it broods. It doesn’t let up.

Space Diver runs from ‘Gravity’ to ‘Game Over.’
