Monolink pulls "Mesmerized" from The Beauty Of It All for a single of its own

Monolink had already released The Beauty Of It All as a full ten-track album before turning to “Mesmerized,” one of its songs, as a single of its own on Ultra Records.

Monolink’s built a reputation for pairing heartfelt songwriting with a rhythm that’s hard to sit still to, and “Mesmerized” holds that same balance between introspection and movement.

The track leans on a heavy low end and layered synth work, with vocals that carry the emotional weight all the way through. It doesn’t let up until the very end.

On the album, the song sits at the midpoint. “Call of the Void,” “Perfect World,” and “Powerful Play” come first, then “Mesmerized,” then “Promised Land,” “Beacon,” “Phoenix,” and “Once I Understood” close it out.

“‘Mesmerized’ is a song about the gravity of human connection,” Monolink has said of the track.
