Boris Brejcha Returns To Fckng Serious With 'Up Down Jumper'
The track follows a four-year run on Ultra Music and lands ahead of festival dates this summer.
A label founder returning to release new music on their own imprint’s one of the oldest stories in techno.
Boris Brejcha released ‘Up Down Jumper’ on 10 June 2022. It’s out now via Fckng Serious, the high-tech-minimal label he founded in 2015.
The track marks his return after a four-year stretch releasing through Ultra Music, and it lands as a homecoming to the label he built from scratch. He’s been releasing since 2006, and ‘Up Down Jumper’ follows both ‘Devil’ on Fckng Serious and ‘Never Stop Dancing’ as his most recent outing anywhere.
The track leans into the same tightly wound percussion and high-tech-minimal energy that define his sets, the same rhythm that’s carried his sound for years. It hasn’t changed much.
He’s also toured Colombia, Peru, Brazil and the USA this year, hitting some of the scene’s biggest stages ahead of festival stops at Pula Music Week and Tomorrowland.
