Kasablanca Return From A Health Scare With 'Higher Resolution'
The fourth single from the Anjunabeats duo's debut album follows a tour cut short by frontman Mickey's cancer diagnosis.
Kasablanca have quickly become one of dance music’s must-see acts since their first singles arrived in 2020, and they’ve now returned with ‘Higher Resolution’.
‘Higher Resolution’ arrives as the fourth single from Side A of their upcoming debut album of the same name, on Anjunabeats. It follows ‘Remission’ with Lane 8, ‘Terminal Feeling’ and ‘Daydream’ with anamē, and marks the first half of the record, with a second half still to come.
An earlier collaboration with Lane 8, ‘Run’, passed 40 million streams. It carried the duo into rooms like Coachella and Red Rocks.
The duo’s momentum was interrupted in 2023, when their first sold-out headline tour, at legendary rock venues across North America, was cut short toward the end of the year after frontman Mickey revealed a cancer diagnosis. Their next single with Lane 8 marked the group’s return.
They’re back on the road too, heading out on a North American tour that starts 12 October.
