Jamie Jones and Channel Tres Team Up on 'Got Time For Me'
The Hot Creations boss's first release on Helix Records folds Channel Tres's vocals into a mellow house groove.
Jamie Jones has released ‘Got Time For Me,’ a collaboration with Channel Tres and his first single on Helix Records.
It follows ‘Lose My Mind,’ a disco-leaning single Jones had put out just before it, and the new track sits in a deep, mellow house pocket built around soft piano and layered production. Channel Tres’s vocal moves from a spoken verse into a hook that opens up.
Jones is also the label boss at Hot Creations and the founder and curator of the Paradise event series. He’s also a member of the cross-genre band Hot Natured. Multiple Top 50 rankings on Billboard’s Top 100 cement his place as one of the industry’s most respected selectors.
A Framework in the Desert booking’s on the calendar too, on a bill that includes FISHER b2b Chris Lake and Adam Beyer b2b Maceo Plex, among other names on this year’s lineup.
