Black Coffee teams with David Guetta for the album 'Drive'

The album follows Black Coffee's double-platinum 'Pieces of Me' and lands during Guetta's own busiest year yet, a month ahead of his next full-length.

After turning ‘Pieces of Me,’ his double-platinum, multi-award-winning album, into one of the biggest stretches of his career, Black Coffee follows it now with ‘Drive,’ an album made with David Guetta and released via Ultra Records on 24 August.

Guetta, a veteran house figure in his own right, isn’t trailing far behind. 2018 has turned into the biggest year of his career too, with a headlining turn on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival’s 20th anniversary celebration in Miami.

‘Drive’ isn’t landing in a quiet stretch either. Guetta closes out a touring year that’s carried him through Coachella, Tomorrowland and Terminal 5 in New York.

It also follows ‘Africa Rising’, the most recent record to carry Black Coffee’s name.

Guetta’s own next full-length arrives a month later, an album called ‘7’ that lands in September with a bonus disc built from a twelve-track mixtape recorded under Jack Back, an alias for techno and deep house. It’s kept separate from the sound most listeners already know him for.

‘Drive’ lands now as a complete album, not a stray one-off. Guetta’s own next one, his album ‘7,’ follows it in September.
