Ben Böhmer ends a ten-month wait with 'One Last Call' on Ninja Tune
His first release on the label follows 2021's Begin Again and a year of festival teases.
Coming off a headline run through the US behind his ‘Portraet’ tour, Böhmer returns with a new single, ‘One Last Call,’ which lands on Ninja Tune on 11 October 2023.
It’s his first release on the label. Also his first new music in ten months.
It follows Begin Again, his 2021 album.
“I’ve always massively respected Ninja Tune as a label and it’s home to some of my favourite electronic artists,” Böhmer said, naming Bonobo, Bicep, TSHA, The Cinematic Orchestra and ODESZA among them.
His Cercle set, filmed above Cappadocia from a hot-air balloon, has passed 29 million YouTube views: the 10th most-watched electronic set on the platform. He’s also cleared half a billion streams on Spotify. His monthly listener count sits at 3.6 million, a full million of which arrived in the past year alone.
It had already surfaced at Glastonbury, Primavera Sound and Awakenings months before any of this was official.
