Ben Böhmer returns to Ninja Tune with Lykke Li on 'Hiding'

Ben Böhmer, a producer who’s released music since 2014, is back on Ninja Tune with ‘Hiding’, a collaboration marking Lykke Li’s first original feature since 2019.

Her collaborators include the likes of Drake, U2 and Skrillex. Her catalogue spans more than two decades, and it has earned her multiple Grammis in Sweden as well as acclaim from Billboard, Pitchfork, NME and The Guardian, while Mark Ronson has called her music full of heartbreak and sadness. He worked with her again in 2023, on a soundtrack for Gucci.

The single is the second cut from Böhmer’s forthcoming album ‘Bloom’, due on Ninja Tune on 27 September. It follows ‘Best Life’, his most recent release on the label. Lykke Li’s vocals sit over synth pads and breakbeat percussion, in a mix that pulls from indie and pop as much as from dance music.

Böhmer will close out his North American tour with stops at Lollapalooza and Portola before heading to Australia for shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

He’s back in Europe this fall, with a stop at the Great Hall of Alexandra Palace.
