Ben Böhmer announces sophomore album 'Begin Again' on Anjunadeep
The Berlin producer's second album arrives on Anjunadeep, led by a single he first played live before it had a title.
Ben Böhmer spent last year turning a hot air balloon into a stage, floating over Turkey for a Cercle set filmed above Cappadocia that became one of the platform’s most-watched performances.
Böhmer’s back on Anjunadeep now with a second album, Begin Again, arriving September 24, pulling him further into alternative electronica without losing the melodic house instincts that got him here. The first sign of it came during a live set, where he previewed a delicate new track before anyone had a title for it: what’s since been confirmed as ‘Beyond Beliefs.’
Anjunadeep, the label that’s carried him since 2018, released his 2019 debut album Breathing. Begin Again follows ‘A Matter Of Time’ on the same label directly. It plays like a continuation, comfortable in a lane he’s already claimed. A few guests turn up along the way, kept mostly in the background.
