Alignment Returns to KNTXT for a Fourth Time on 'Attack'

Francesco Pierfelice, the Italian-born, Berlin-based producer who performs as Alignment, has returned to Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT with a four-track EP titled ‘Attack’.

The title track leads off with pounding percussion and hard, distorted synth lines, and it’s a fiery cut of new-school techno built for the floor; ‘Dream State,’ ‘Multiverse’ and ‘The Way’ complete the four tracks, all of it produced after Alignment resumed touring clubs and festivals in 2022.

‘Attack’ is Alignment’s fourth release on KNTXT, and it’s a relationship that began in 2020, following his ‘Power EP’ on the label. “I am more than happy to contribute with Attack EP,” he said. “Charlotte has supported me since day one, and I am hugely grateful to release for the fourth time on her label.” De Witte, who runs KNTXT, called him “one of my favourite producers out there.”

‘Attack’ doesn’t attempt anything beyond that. It’s a direct, floor-first techno record, the same lane as everything else on the label.
