Young Bombs Enlist GiGi For 'Loyal'
The duo's third single of 2019 arrives on Astralwerks, built around a confession-laced hook from GiGi.
Young Bombs have released their new single ‘Loyal,’ featuring GiGi, on Astralwerks.
GiGi opens the track with the very line that gives it its title, the confession she sings right up front before anything else happens: “I’ve never been loyal.” She admits she used to put herself first, chasing the wrong things before finally landing on someone real. Young Bombs build the whole thing around bright keys and an irresistible melody, keeping the mood feeling good from start to finish.
It’s the duo’s third single of 2019, a year that’s kept Young Bombs busy. Not bad for eight months’ work. It follows ‘Starry Eyes (Remixes)’ and ‘Don’t Let Them,’ both released earlier this same year on different sides of the label story.
The first was on the label too, and it remains the only other release the duo has put out there so far.
They are also on the road, with the first leg of their North American tour already underway, so it is worth checking whether a date lands somewhere near you before the schedule moves on.
