RÜFÜS DU SOL follow 'Lost in My Mind' with a second pull from 'SOLACE'
'Treat You Better' arrives on 19 October, the second cut the band has pulled from the same nine-track record.
Working from the same nine-track ‘SOLACE’ tracklist, RÜFÜS DU SOL follow up ‘Lost in My Mind,’ the single before it, with ‘Treat You Better,’ out through Rose Avenue/Reprise on 19 October 2018.
They’ve been releasing music since 2011. Rose Avenue/Reprise, the label behind this one, has carried them only since 2018.
All nine tracks on the album share the same credit, too. It’s simply RÜFÜS, not the full RÜFÜS DU SOL, which says more about how they’ve chosen to present the record than any press line would.
The video that comes with it plays a version of that same tension out visually. It’s built around the group performing as one unit on stage while each member’s turned inward, somewhere else entirely, working a private thread inside a shared one.
It opens drained of color, and only once the band steps into the light does any of it start bleeding back in.
