Qrion shares 'Proud'

Qrion’s ‘Proud’ returns to Anjunadeep on 12 October. It is a label she’s called home since 2019.

‘Proud’ samples the hook from ‘I’m So Proud’, a 1964 Impressions song, and folds it into a funkier house setting. The vocal doesn’t lose its original warmth while a 124 BPM groove fills out around it, and the short version arrives with an extended mix.

The release follows ‘Your Love’ and ‘11-11’, two earlier album singles.

She’s also just delivered a first mix for Triple J in Australia, which offers another way into that textured world, and this year’s EDC Las Vegas run puts her on the stereoBLOOM stage, a booking she has called a career goal.

She has been releasing music since 2012, which makes her one of the scene’s most in-demand names, and her first album, ‘I Hope It Lasts Forever’, lands on 29 October.
