Jay Newman follows 'You Saved Me' with 'Infinite Vision' on Sommersville Records

“I used to set myself a target label that I wanted to release with and try to make a record to suit that label, but now I just go with my emotions and my feelings,” Jay Newman says of his process.

He’s been releasing music since 2016, and ‘Infinite Vision’ follows You Saved Me, his previous release, putting this one seven-plus years into a career built one track at a time, not around any single label deal. It lands now on Sommersville Records, the label carrying it out.

He’s also played Ministry Of Sound in London, Ibiza Rocks Hotel and Panama Amsterdam, among other stops on the circuit, the kind of resume that keeps an artist visible between releases as much as any single track does.

The track keeps a steady pulse under layers of texture that build gradually, picking up energy without changing shape along the way. It’s an assured showcase of the sound and skill he’s built his name on.

It’s not a remix package, either. Both versions on ‘Infinite Vision’ are Newman’s own, the original and an extended cut.
