ARTBAT recruit John Martin for 'Coming Home'

ARTBAT’s Artur and Batish started their musical journey in Kyiv, and in the years since, the Ukrainian duo has picked up a Mixmag Stars of the Year nod, a spot among Beatport’s best-selling acts, and festival slots at EDC and Tomorrowland.

‘Coming Home’ is where that catalogue meets a new voice: ARTBAT brought in Grammy-nominated singer John Martin for the single. They built it as a tribute to the Ukrainian Chain, the demonstration where an estimated three million people held hands in a line that ran for thousands of kilometers between Lviv and Kyiv.

They’ve been releasing music since 2015, and ‘Coming Home’ follows ‘Breathe In,’ the record they’d put out right before it. It adds up to a long run of catalogue behind a deeply specific tribute.

The song leans on that history directly. It plays bigger than a routine collaboration because of it. It is streaming now.
