ARTBAT surprise-drop 'Afterparty' on their own UPPERGROUND label

No warning, no lead-up. ARTBAT dropped ‘Afterparty’ on UPPERGROUND, the label the duo has called home since 2021.

It’s the sound they’ve built a name on. Hazy pads over a bassline that circles more than it pushes forward. The kind of groove made for the hour after the main set ends, when a room’s still half full and nobody’s ready to go home yet.

‘Afterparty’ follows a run that’s kept the Ukrainian duo working just about everywhere at once, from headline stages down to the smallest clubs on the circuit. ‘She The Last One’ with Vintage Culture. ‘Humans’ with braev. ‘Hollow’ with MORTEN and bonn. This one comes right behind ‘She The Last One,’ their last outing on the same label.

Away from the studio, ARTBAT are booked into a run at Amnesia this summer, playing alongside Adam Beyer every Wednesday from July 23rd through September 17th as part of the RESISTANCE Ibiza residency. Not tied to this single, just where their year is headed.

They’ve been releasing since 2015, and ‘Afterparty’ doesn’t sound like a duo running short on ideas.
