Amelie Lens has spent Lenske’s first eighteen months building the label around other producers’ names, and The Future is where her own finally lands on the tracklist.

The five-track EP is a modest collection of new originals, all from producers who’ve put music out through Lenske over that same stretch, and it lands as the label’s tenth release altogether, a genuine landmark for the imprint.

Lens’ own submission sits second on the tracklist, eponymous with the EP itself and carrying her voice as well as her direction, a rare turn for a label she’s mostly used to spotlight other producers.

Milo Spykers opens the record with Traversing, one of five producers on the tracklist. AIROD, Farrago and Ahl Iver close it out with Divine Power, Step Up and Night Creature in turn. It follows fabric presents Amelie Lens, out 21 February 2020 through Lenske, the Belgian label.
