Alex O'Rion Announces 14-Track Album 'Nostalgia'

Alex O’Rion is a Dutch producer who has spent years in progressive house, on Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat and on Guy J’s Lost & Found, and his album ‘Nostalgia’ is on the way.

Fourteen tracks, and it goes out through Solis Records, the label O’Rion started for himself in 2023 after years of releasing on other people’s.

The album pulls in more than one style. Groove sits next to organic texture, progressive structure holds it together, and there’s a backward glance at older electronic records that the album plays with.

That mix is the point of it. He’s called the sound timeless, and he made the record after reaching the production goals he set himself. It is a natural next step in a long career.

O’Rion tours, too. Headline sets have taken him from South America to Australia over the years, and the album was written by somebody who spends a great deal of time in front of rooms.
