Avoure opens Lane 8's second Root to Branch volume with Let Me
The Ukrainian producer leads off the second volume of Lane 8's talent-showcase series on This Never Happened.
Given two tracks like every act invited onto the record, Avoure opens the second volume of Lane 8’s Root to Branch compilation with Let Me, its lead single and title track.
Lane 8 built the six-track record for This Never Happened, his label, and it’s out as of 10 May 2018.
The series exists to give newer names room on the roster, and this volume carries three of them: Avoure, Enamour and Solanca, continuing the format the first volume set, two tracks per act.
Avoure is Ukrainian.
The track leans on layered, soaring synth lines under a wistful vocal hook that doesn’t let up until it reaches a peak built for a room well past midnight.
Lane 8, born Daniel Goldstein, released his second album, Little By Little, earlier this year.
Avoure’s second cut, Voile, isn’t the short one, running longer than every other track on the record; Enamour follows it with Still Life and Soul Release.
Solanca closes the compilation with Great Belt and Belladonna.
