Innellea Shares 'Silence' With Maurice Kaar Ahead of His Debut Album
The single opens Innellea's debut album 'The Belonging', due 9 February 2024 on his own Distorted Youth.
Munich-born and long affiliated with Afterlife, Innellea has built a sound that blends his techno roots with something more introspective, and he’s unveiled ‘Silence,’ a collaboration featuring vocals from fellow German producer Maurice Kaar.
‘Silence’ opens Innellea’s forthcoming debut album, ‘The Belonging,’ arriving through his own label, Distorted Youth, in partnership with [PIAS] Électronique, the same imprint that’s putting out the single itself.
The album will also carry collaborations with the likes of Flowdan, Monolink and CamelPhat, and it’s also a live tour project.
‘Silence’ moves from an unsettled mood into something warmer and more uplifting. He’s framed it as a response to collective isolation. “As personal crises are part of life, we want to go through this journey collectively and include everyone around us who might be silent, burned out and struggling, as so many these days are asking ourselves, ‘Where do I belong?’” he said, and ‘The Belonging’ lands February 9, 2024.
