Chris Avantgarde Launches Hyperreal, His Own Label and Debut Album
The German-born, UK-based producer steps into a new role as label executive, pairing a debut album with an imprint of the same name.
“Hyperreal marks the launch of my new label and debut album, combining all my influences and music I play live into one coherent project,” Chris Avantgarde said.
German-born, UK-based, Chris Avantgarde has spent the summer commanding stages at Ultra, EDC and Tomorrowland; it’s been a genuine breakout run, one that also brought collaborations with Anyma and Adam Beyer and B2B sets alongside Enrico Sanguiliano and Kevin de Vries.
His first single, ‘Energy,’ from the forthcoming album is out now, arriving after a catalogue built almost entirely on other people’s labels: Afterlife, Experts Only, Drumcode, Dirtybird. Hyperreal is both the label and the album; it puts him in a role he hasn’t held before, label executive.
He’s been with Hyperreal / Boom.Records since 2025; Rhythm Check was his most recent release.
Through the label, he’s planning collaborations, live events and licensing beyond the music itself, giving other artists room to experiment. Hyperreal landed 10 July 2026. Stream it below.
