CamelPhat and Jem Cooke put out Silenced on RCA
The single is already turning up in the duo's live sets, timed to land just ahead of their biggest UK tour yet.
A warm, soul-inflected vocal carries ‘Silenced’ from its first bar, borrowed from a voice that’s already familiar across Dark Matter, the album this single is lifted from.
CamelPhat and Jem Cooke have put the track out through RCA Records, and it’s available to stream or buy now, having already been slipping into the duo’s live sets before the studio version even landed.
Jem Cooke, the vocalist who sings lead on ‘Silenced’, isn’t a one-off collaborator here. Her voice also carries ‘Rabbit Hole’, ‘Carry Me Away’ and ‘Breathe’, three other extracts from the same record, which makes this less a guest feature than a recurring partnership across the album.
The timing lines up with CamelPhat’s biggest UK tour to date, which opens March 10. Wembley Arena, already sold out, follows on April 9.
