Anyma and Innellea's Angel 1 ties its own royalties to an NFT
Half of what the Genesys track earns goes to whoever buys the release as an NFT, paid out through an automatic contract.
Anyma, Matteo Milleri’s solo project built out of one half of Tale Of Us, returns alongside fellow melodic techno artist Innellea for Angel 1, a cut from the 14-track album Genesys.
Buy the NFT release and you’re not just owning a picture attached to a song. Half of Angel 1’s streaming and DSP royalties get paid straight to whoever holds it, running through a Kannon Kspect contract built on the original ERC-721 standard, with no file-size cap on the artwork itself. That’s not typical for a straightforward single release. Royalties run automatically.
Angel 1 is the fourth full installment in the Anyma project’s release arc, following the two-track Running EP with Meg Myers, the three-track Claire, and the original four-track debut, Sentient.
Anyma pulls in Grimes, Sevdaliza and CamelPhat elsewhere on the record, spreading the guest list across the rest of the album. Angel 1 itself isn’t a group effort like some of Genesys’s other cuts, no other name on the credit, no borrowed voice doing the work a feature usually does.
