Tom Tainted and Bee Singfield Team Up on 'Strong'
Two versions on the producer's own imprint, with the UK vocalist carrying the top line.
Plenty of producers who start a label end up releasing more of other people’s music than their own, and plenty go the other way. It’s a choice you can hear.
Tom Tainted runs Red Trail Music, and ‘Strong’ came out on it on 3 May, a collaboration with Bee Singfield that puts her voice at the centre of the record.
Singfield is a producer and vocalist working in melodic house and techno out of the UK, and it’s her top line the record is built around.
Underneath that, the production drives. Punchy beats, basslines with some weight behind them, and a lift in the arrangement. Resilience, strength, love: that’s the territory.

Red Trail isn’t only a release schedule: Tom Tainted puts out a monthly radio show under the same name, and the label and the show are both his own doing.
‘Strong’ arrives as the next in a run of progressive house singles from him.
