Mathame Finally Release 'Follow' After a Year of Festival Buzz
The BONN collaboration had already spent over a year as a festival favorite before its official release on the duo's own label.
Known for a cinematic sound built up over more than a decade as Italian brothers, Mathame have released ‘Follow,’ their long-awaited collaboration with vocalist BONN.
The track spent more than a year as one of the duo’s most talked-about unreleased records, played out at the likes of Tomorrowland, EDC, Sziget Festival and UNVRS Ibiza, where thousands of fans around the world sang it back long before it ever had an official release.
‘Follow’ pairs Mathame’s cinematic production with a vocal turn from BONN that’s instantly recognizable. At its core it’s a song about connection, his lyrics giving a very human weight to the duo’s wide-open sound. It now arrives as one of the most defining releases of their career so far.
It’s Mathame’s latest release on MATHAME, following ‘Meet Me.’ The duo have been putting out music since 2015, and ‘Follow’ landed 24 July.
