CamelPhat and London Grammar turn a 2021 remix into an original on Higher

Having spent 2021 reworking someone else’s song for London Grammar, CamelPhat now turns that into something both artists genuinely made together outright this time on Higher.

Back in 2021, CamelPhat first remixed London Grammar’s single Lose Your Head. It’s picked up millions of streams across the years since.

Higher is the one original on The Remixes, a collection otherwise built from other producers’ rework of that same song; Hannah Reid’s vocals carry it this time, without a remixer sharing the track.

The track leans hard on a repeated hook built around the word higher, washing steadily over the listener toward something built for release, not rework.

Ministry of Sound Recordings put Higher out into the world on 20 July 2023, a while after that first remix landed.

Higher isn’t a remix. It’s the one original track on The Remixes, credited to both artists outright, not filed away as another CamelPhat rework.
